I purchased a DomeOvens kit but it is too darn small! opening is only 16 inches! I plan to cut the front down the middle of the first section angled and insert fire bricks in the space (also cut slightly angled) adding approximately 4 inches. Then between back sections cut angled slightly, insert 4 " bricks as well. then cement it all shut. for the floor platform included with the kit to insert fire brick to add 4 inches in the width as well, all before installing the insulation blanket and finishing coating. Has anyone done this widening job?
