Adobe brick is one of the building materials used in building pizza oven. Adobe bricks are made from adobe clay using an open frame. They have to be dried up and baked in a brick oven before they can be used in building the pizza oven. The standard adobe brick is 10 in by 14 in but convenient sizes are available. Adobe brick pizza oven has better thermal characteristics due to the bricks poor heat transmission features. To prevent the brick from rain water, the oven can be covered with cement layer, or have the pizza oven under a shade.
